Central Iowa Accolades

March is a great time for the Des Moines – Central Iowa Alumni chapter of Delta Sigma Pi. See the calendar page and Facebook for more information about our 3/11 professional evening, 3/18 monthly happy hour, and 3/29 DSM Buccaneers hockey night.

March is also a great time for Des Moines and Central Iowa. The new spring/summer edition of “Catch Des Moines” was released the same day as the March/April edition of “DSM Magazine”.

But first, back to January. The annual Book of lists was published. “Published annually in January, The Des Moines Business Record’s Book of Lists is the definitive resource guide for business professionals in the Central Iowa area. The book includes over 70 lists from a variety of industries, profiles of local leaders, Central Iowa Market Facts and a community calendar.”

Then, the “Today” show came to town and recognized Des Moines as the wealthiest city in their healthy, wealthy, wise series.

Recently, the Greater Des Moines Partnership launched it’s CarpeDM website at http://www.seizedesmoines.com
Use the site as a great resource guide for the Central Iowa metro.

March 4 was the unveiling of the latest edition of “Catch Des Moines”

This guide, emphasizing this year’s theme of culture, is an excellent source for entartainment and what to do around the metro. The calendar function is probably the most useful tool on the site.
