2015 has officially started… with a good showing at the January Happy Hour. Many brothers had never been to G Mig’s (in Valley Junction) before. What they found were good drinks, narrow tables, warm popcorn, friendly service, and a fun time!
At the happy hour several important items were discussed including: LEAD in Iowa City. This event is only weeks away. Alumni are invited to a Friday 2/6 social at Backpocket Brewing from 6-8 pm in recognition of the Epsilon (UIowa) Chapter’s 95th anniversary. There will be an alumni table during the LEAD on Saturday 2/7 that registered alumni can visit to network with collegiate brothers. Contact the Des Moines – Central Iowa Alumni Chapter or North Central Alumni Development Committee Chair, Teresa for more information.
Also discussed was Halsey coming up at the end of February.
Thank you to all those who visited the WordPress site of the Des Moines – Central Iowa Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi in 2014.

Tuesday, January 20 the Des Moines – Central Iowa Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi kicks off the year with an exciting Happy Hour. Join in starting around 5:30 at G Mig’s located at 128 5th Street in the historic Valley Junction (West Des Moines).
Learn about what the alumni chapter has in store for the year. Get up-to-date on all the regional, provincial, and national events happening in Iowa or bordering states in 2015 (LEAD in Iowa City, Halsey in Lincoln, NE, and GCC in Chicago, IL). Alumni Chapter President, Tom, will not be attending the LEAD Provincial Council Meeting in February, so at the January Happy Hour there will be a vote to select his replacement for the meeting (National Bylaw and Ritual changes are on the agenda). So Tuesday’s event is not one to miss.
