300 Fall Ideas Brainstormed

The Des Moines – Central Iowa Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi held its September happy hour last week at 300 Craft & Rooftop near downtown Des Moines.

The rooftop was nice, offering great views of the skyline and baseball park, but brothers parked up inside for conversation, craft brews & cocktails, and to brainstorm some ideas for the coming months. Be sure to check out the calendar page of this weblog to see the latest info on what’s being planned.

There was some discussion about the community service opportunity in October. Planned to coincide with the annual “Make a Difference Day”, brothers have been invited to volunteer for the clean-up shift for the annual Reggie’s Sleepout event Sunday 10/23.
Another great idea was getting together to attend a Drake University athletic event.

Volunteer as Part of ‘Make a Difference Day’

The Des Moines – Central Iowa Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi will be lending a helping hand on “Make a Difference Day”. Although the day technically falls on Sat. 10/22, central Iowa brothers are invited to band together Sunday, October 23 for the cleanup shift from the Reggie’s Sleepout event held at the Drake Stadium on the Drake University Campus.
