Once again, the Twin Cities Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi hosted a summer pig roast (an annual tradition). The 2016 event was Saturday, June 25 at Antlers Park in Lakeville, Minnesota. Of the 48 people registered, 3 traveled from Des Moines. Also of note was 1 brother from Colorado and another from Nebraska. Several former central Iowa residents who now live in the twin cities attended the pig roast.
The food was excellent. Divine Swine was the caterer (same as in recent years).
There were many yard games played and much fun was had that afternoon. And there were even brothers who went swimming at the beach! The weather was very hot for the picnic and there had been some storms in the area the night before.
A great time was had by everyone in attendance. Including those brothers from Des Moines! Thank you, TCAC.
Last week the Des Moines – Central Iowa Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi caught a little March Madness basketball while enjoying a happy hour at Legends in downtown Des Moines.

There were some good drinks, good NCAA b-ball games, a cozy fireplace right next to our table, and plenty of brotherhood to go around.
The chapter now has a social chair. Jenny has volunteered to coordinate several future social events, so stay tuned.
The March 2015 issue of “The Deltasig” is out.
Several items of note include GCC information starting on page 4 (including a nice photo featuring President Tom in the lower left on page 4),
A great story from Des Moines’ own Mitch Mathews on page 24,
A photo of South Dakota winning a national award on page 35.
There is an area on the new dsp.org website for news (including a story about the 2015 Halsey published March 18). Find it at
